This gold color is produced with mushrooms and has a beautiful silky sheen to it and a delicate softness. Perfect for all weather items and especially baby clothes. Listing is for a single skein. Each skein is dyed and wound by myself.

Each skein is approximately 100 grams, 246+ yards of DK weight plant fiber lyocell. Whenever possible I use only organic plant materials and low impact mordants, conserving materials as I go in order to bring you the purest product possible.
These little bad boys all turned out to be very close in color. This was an awesome experience and I was so excited to get these colors. It was a lot of work, but really rewarding.
To care for your yarn, please avoid harsh soaps and high temperatures. Items made with this yarn can be machine washed on delicate, cool wash and rinse, medium low setting iron, and you can dry clean but why bother. It's important to note that certain plant dyes are fugitive and will fade over time. To what degree varies and to preserve the colors please hand wash with cool water and remember the sun bleaches even commercial dyes.
